Station Hunting Overview
Station Hunting is a means of routing both intercom and outside calls through a logical grouping
of stations and on to a designated overflow location in case of no answer or if all stations in the
hunt group are busy.
Station Hunting is sometimes called the “poor man’s ACD” (Automatic Call Distributor),
because it has some features that a call center would find beneficial during its daily operation.
Combined with the purchasable UCD reports option in 16A, Station Hunting becomes a more
resilient and flexible package for call centers.

Step 1: Setting up the Pilot Number
It is necessary to enter a pilot number before you can add or remove a station hunt group. The
pilot number represents a common extension that associates all of the member list stations with
one another.
