4.5 Connecting The Paging Equipment,
Music Sources, And Controlling Relays
The CPU board provides a standard 6-position modular jack for interfacing external paging equipment and
external music sources to the FXT System. This jack both supplies audio output from the system for paging
purposes and accepts audio input from two separate audio sources for the music on hold and background music
features..
For equipment-control purposes, the CPU board also provides dry-contact relays that installers can wire as
needed. The relays are under software control so that installers can customize their operation.
